Breath-Body-Mind Fundamentals Practices for Stress Management, Personal Development, and Resilience

LEARN PRACTICES FOR STRESS-REDUCTION & BETTER HEALTH

Breath-Body-Mind™ (BBM) integrates ancient and modern trauma-sensitive techniques to rapidly balance stress-response systems for self-care and healing others. Developed by Integrative Psychiatrists, Richard P. Brown, MD and Patricia Gerbarg, MD, BBM has proven benefits—for healthcare professionals, patients, veterans, and child and adult survivors of mass disasters—and has been shown to increase resilience and reduce the effects of stress.

Join Dr. Brown and Dr. Gerbarg, along with other advance BBM teachers, and immerse yourself in a joyful and educational experience to relieve stress and enhance your physical and mental health. Through gentle movement, breathing, and music, you will:

  • Learn simple, trauma-sensitive, breath-centered techniques.
  • Discover how these are used for personal development, clinical practice, medical settings, schools, disaster recovery, and more.
  • Practice breathwork including coherent breathing, Sky and Earth, Painting the Waterfall, and The Great Harmonizer of the Breath.
  • Participate in small group processes.
Dr. Gerbarg discusses research—studies of anxiety, PTSD, COVID stress, bowel disease, and everyday stress—on how breath techniques, combined with other practices, lead to significant rapid improvements in psychological and physical well-being, sympathetic-parasympathetic balance, emotion regulation, and symptom resolution in a wide range of conditions. She presents new developments in BBM disaster relief in Ukraine, Israel, Turkey, Rwanda, and other places. Learn more about this groundbreaking work at breath-body-mind.com
