Dedicating Ourselves to Liberation A Pre-Passover Shabbat Retreat

Practicing Shabbat is like experiencing a deeply renewing yoga posture. Join gifted teachers Cantor Lizzie Shammash and Rabbi Sheila Peltz Weinberg for a retreat that draws upon the Jewish and spiritual practices of mindfulness, prayer, chant, and study to hold the pose of Shabbat.

Through yoga, Q&A, discussion, and more, you will:

  • Observe Shabbat rituals in community.
  • Study Passover's themes of liberation and freedom.
  • Discover your own freedom from constriction in both mind and body.

Enjoy a pause from your busyness, and take time to rest in the spacious awareness of being that the Sabbath—and the upcoming holiday of Passover—offer. This program is appropriate for all levels of yoga practitioners.
