Eat Breathe Thrive A Yoga, Food, and Body Image Intensive

Eat Breathe Thrive is an innovative yoga-based program that supports healthy eating and positive body image. Open to everyone, this in-depth training explores a mind-body approach to mindful eating, emotional resilience, and body confidence.

  • Experience yoga and meditation practices that tap the body's innate intelligence.
  • Learn the main components of the Eat Breathe Thrive program—four simple principles to support a healthy relationship with food, body, and self.
  • Explore how yoga can be a double-edged sword for those with food and body image issues, and learn how to offer support to those who may be struggling.

Engaging discussions and interactive activities round out this experiential training. Enhance your practice with a toolkit for tuning into hunger and fullness signals, coping healthfully with difficult emotions, and building more compassionate relationships with oneself.

Recommended reading Carol Horton and Roseanne Harvey, editors, 21st Century Yoga: Culture, Politics and Practice; Anita A. Johnston, Eating in the Light of the Moon; Eve Ensler, The Good Body (audiobook format recommended).

Note This training serves as Module One of the Eat Breathe Thrive Facilitator Training. Module Two is hosted online and has no up-front cost. Learn more at eatbreathethrive.org.

I have a PhD in social work and I’ve been facilitating trainings for over 20 years, and I can say with total honesty that Chelsea has a gift: for storytelling, for igniting inspiration, and for helping people recover from disordered eating with a sensible, intelligent, yet heart-centered approach.
