FIND JOY IN COMMUNITY

Join social justice educator and yoga teacher, Jacoby Ballard, and curandera and relationship counselor, Nathalie Rodríguez, for a retreat designed specifically for queer and transidentified individuals.

Experience community, connection, healing, joy, and more in this program that was featured in Yoga Journal's The Best Yoga Retreat Trends of 2023. You will:

  • Explore contemplative practices such as lovingkindness as a form of fierce protection.
  • Be supported by nourishing yoga and creative movement practices.
  • Explore how queerness can radicalize your spiritual practice.
  • Counter cultural appropriation and honor yoga’s roots through authentic practices.
  • Experience freedom of movement and expression.
  • Connect with your own unique sources of spiritual grounding.

Join us and express your identity in all its fullness in this weekend full of spiritual nourishment, creative practice, rest, and magical expression.

NOTE This is a retreat for queer and transidentified individuals only. It is our goal at Kripalu to provide a welcoming environment for all. We have created Gender Expansive Dorms with the explicit goal of providing a housing experience with a sense of belonging and community for trans, nonbinary, and genderqueer/gender non-conforming guests, as well as LGBTQIA+ guests and allies of those communities. Guests who select Gender Expansive dorms agree to live with and create a welcoming environment for students of any gender identity.
