Forest Bathing Retreat Reconnect with Nature

For everyone; no yoga or outdoor experience necessary.

The woods and meadows of Kripalu are a perfect place to connect with the healing atmosphere of the forest. Experience nature’s beauty and the calming effects of Shinrin Yoku, or forest bathing, a popular Japanese practice that enhances health, wellness, and happiness by simply spending time in nature.

In this program, you experience

  • A guided practice of forest bathing on nearby trails and footpaths, including quality time in Bullard Woods, one of the few remaining old-growth forests in New England
  • Walking and outdoor meditations on our beautiful grounds and nearby Yokun Ridge
  • The science of forest therapy and the proven benefits of spending time in nature
  • Ways to encourage a deeper relationship with the earth
  • Restorative and invigorating Kripalu Yoga and qigong classes.

Come feel refreshed and renewed in the revitalizing atmosphere of our natural spaces, and take home the tools to cultivate the connective and healing power of the forest.
