Kripalu’s School of Integrative Yoga Therapy combines yoga’s most powerful tools with leading research across a variety of disciplines, creating a curriculum designed to help you guide your clients and students on their journey toward balance, health, and happiness.
Dive deeper into the unique Kripalu Integrative Yoga Therapy protocol as you explore lifestyle-related imbalances and learn intake and assessment skills to develop a therapeutic approach for healing through yoga therapy. This module builds on Foundations of Yoga Therapy Part 1 and includes further familiarization and integration of biomechanics and somatic movement, as well as anatomical and physiological knowledge of all the body systems. Focus on the development of individual yoga therapy sessions and learn to translate the principles and skills of the therapeutic relationship in a one-on-one setting with clients.
Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:
- Apply the KSIYT four-step assessment process and 10-step treatment protocol for individuals with common lifestyle related imbalances.
- Design personalized yoga therapy protocols for whole person wellness (physical, psychological ,and spiritual).
- Demonstrate intake and assessments for individual sessions.
- Apply a range of yoga practices and their therapeutic effects to help alleviate suffering.
- Explain and understand models of wellbeing to inform interventions, goals, and scope of practice as a yoga therapist.

Full Bio and ProgramsJaime Boswell, MS, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, is a faculty member of the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy and a former research scientist. She has a passion for exploring the intersection of science and yoga, and teaching both in a way that is accessible and empowering.
