Integral Qigong and Tai Chi Teacher Training Level 1

LEARN TO TEACH QIGONG IN YOUR COMMUNITY

Become an Integral Qigong Teacher (IQT) certified by the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi (IIQTC), internationally recognized among the most respected training and research institutes outside of China. This intensive training comprehensively covers the qi cultivation arts in thorough alignment with holistic principles, classic yoga and Ayurvedic principles, breakthrough contemporary science, accessible mind-body practices, Buddhist and Taoist philosophies, traditional Chinese medical theory, and includes the physiology of qigong and a survey of 21st century business-building skills.

Roger Jahnke, a doctor of Chinese medicine with over 35 years of clinical practice, reminds us that yogis in China are practicing qigong—Chinese yoga, the cultivation of qi or life-force energy—just as qigong practitioners in India are practicing Indian qigong, based on the cultivation of prana. Both systems are founded upon “The Three Treasures”, mindfulness of the body-breath-mind.

With the comprehensive foundation of this Level 1 Integral Qigong Practice Leader Training, you can start teaching these accessible, evidence-based qigong methods to people in your community and maximize or recover their health in a variety of settings such as hospitals, schools and universities, yoga centers, and more. Yoga teachers who weave qigong into their classes report that their students love the ease and flow, plus the feeling of the qi sensation.

Based in an information-rich curriculum and confidence-building teaching practicum (in small groups), this professional training supports you in teaching nine accessible qigong methods:

  • Vitality Enhancement Medical Qigong Practice — Healer Within Qigong
  • The Nine Phases of Integral Qigong
  • Connective Tissue Transformation Qigong
  • Bone Marrow Bathing Qigong and the Daoist Medicine Wheel
  • Seven Precious Gestures Qigong
  • Cancer Recovery Walking Qigong
  • Spontaneous Qigong
  • A Wide Array of Qigong Breath Practices
  • Qi Transmission Healing

You will leave fully prepared and empowered to teach qigong in your community, based on profound yet simple principles of cultivation and the renowned IIQTC Teaching Method. Whether you enroll as a personal retreat or as the next step in your career, this deeply inspiring training can benefit the health of your body, mind, and spirit.

IIQTC certification connects you to a professional community of over 3000 IIQTC practice leaders, teachers, and trainers, from every professional background and gives you access to an exclusive web-based Teacher Resources Center.
