Eric Maisel, PhD, is a creativity coach, retired family therapist, and author who founded the profession of creativity coaching. He pens the Rethinking Mental Health blog for Psychology Today, a monthly print column for Professional Artist Magazine, and has been a guest on shows like The Forum, Thinking Allowed, New Dimensions, and hundreds more. Eric is the author of more than 50 books, including Coaching the Artist Within, Mastering Creative Anxiety, The Van Gogh Blues, Fearless Creating, Overcoming Your Difficult Family, Humane Helping, and Rethinking Depression. He maintains a coaching practice in the San Francisco Bay Area via phone and Skype with clients throughout the world.
