Hugh Byrne
Presenter
Hugh Byrne, PhD, a teacher with the Insight Meditation Community of Washington and author of The Here-and-Now Habit and Habit Swap has taught mindfulness meditation since 2000. He completed a four-year teacher-training program with Jack Kornfield and other senior teachers at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in California and the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts. He also trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Somatic Experiencing, a mind-body approach to healing trauma. His current focus brings mindfulness to daily habits, helping people shift away from autopilot toward behaviors that create greater health and happiness.
