Treating Complex Trauma with EMDR Therapy The Art and the Science

For EMDR-trained clinicians. CE credits.

When using EMDR therapy with complex trauma, do you get confused about what to focus on  when so much is going on—or not much is happening at all? Learn how to make what happens in your sessions explicit and understandable, broadening the possibilities for healing and transformation.

Through lecture and discussion, small-group personal practice, videos of client sessions, and live demonstrations, this program helps you deepen your skills by

  • Conceptualizing the case through an attachment lens
  • Using adaptive action systems to identify what is missing and therefore what is needed
  • Applying clinical interweaves to facilitate movement in processing
  • Learning to identify and work with defensive patterns of response
  • Using somatic interventions for resourcing as well as memory processing.

Note Registrations for this program close the morning of Wednesday, June 7.
