A Full Sturgeon Moon Weekend of Movement, Rhythm, Release, and Renewal
Together, We Rise!
Are you longing for healing, connection, and a return to your natural rhythm? Join us under the Full Sturgeon Moon for a transformative Afro Flow Yoga® weekend that invites you to move, release, breathe, reflect, and rise in sacred community.
Gather with Afro Flow Yoga® co-founders Leslie Salmon Jones and Jeff W. Jones on the ancestral Mohegan homelands at Kripalu. Supported by musical collaborators Morley Kamen and Stan Strickland, whose vocal and instrumental soundscapes weave words, breath, rhythm, and subtle guidance into each session, this experience offers a soulful pathway back to your body’s wisdom, your intuition, and your heart’s clarity.
Experience the full Afro Flow Yoga® journey through rhythmic movement, breathwork, live drumming, dancing, storytelling, reflection, and circle ceremony in nature—an embodied practice that invites deep emotional release, grounded presence, and authentic connection. You will reconnect with your innate resilience and the teachings of the Sturgeon Moon—abundance, intuition, and emotional renewal.
In this program, you will:
- Release emotional and energetic holding through movement, breath, voice, and reflection.
- Reconnect with ancestral wisdom and the moon’s guidance toward resilience and clarity.
- Experience Afro Flow Yoga®’s integrative blend of yoga, African Diaspora dance, and live drumming.
- Be supported by vocal and instrumental soundscapes that deepen presence, healing, and embodied release.
- Strengthen your inner capacity for courage, compassion, and grounded transition.
- Participate in circle-based rituals that nurture connection, creativity, and shared humanity.
You will return home renewed, aligned, and inspired—with embodied practices to support your well-being and carry you forward into the season ahead.
