Nurture Your Connection with the Earth

Artificial intelligence, robotics, cryptocurrency, and other accelerating technologies are reshaping our world in profound and unpredictable ways. For many, this era of rapid change can feel disorienting, ungrounding, overwhelming, scary, and uncertain. And yet, it is precisely in times like these that our relationship with the living world becomes most essential.

The built and digital worlds of humanity are remarkable, but they rest upon a deeper, older, and more mysterious foundation—the living Earth and Cosmos that sustains all life. Rewilding is a remembering of that truth. It is a returning to the knowing that nature holds us, teaches us, and nourishes us—and that through relationship with the Earth and one another, we can rediscover guidance, joy, beauty, resilience, belonging, and meaning. How can we adapt to a changing world, while keeping our feet firmly rooted in the wisdom of the living Earth? This is our inquiry.

In this online experience both livestreamed from Kripalu campus and classes in the Kripalu Online Studio, join the author of Rewilding and Founding Director of the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership, Micah Mortali, and friends for our third annual Rewilding Summit—a deep, multidisciplinary gathering exploring what it means to rewild our lives as modern people in a changing world.

Our esteemed guest faculty will stream both live from the Kripalu campus and live inside of our Kripalu Online Studio. The lineup includes:

  • Jon Young: Keynote speaker, author of What the Robin Knows, co-author of Coyote’s Guide, creator of the 8 Shields approach, co-founder of the Wilderness Awareness School, and a foundational voice in the global nature connection and rewilding movement.
  • Jake Lewis: Master storyteller and student of myth, who will help open our gathering with the telling of The Moon Palace.
  • Zelda Hotaling: Intuitive guide, healer, artist, and creator of the Sacred Dream Circle Project, weaving ancestral wisdom, ceremony, and relationship with the Earth.
  • Shawn Stevens: Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican storyteller, musician, historian, and spiritualist whose work centers cultural revitalization, ancestral healing, and connection.
  • Sefra Alexandra: Ethnobotanist and “Seed Huntress” dedicated to preserving seed biodiversity, restoring native ecologies, and strengthening our relationship with the living world.
  • Tertius Bune: Transformational coach, mindful outdoor guide, and forager who invites people into nature as a pathway to self-awareness, connection, and purpose.
  • Tim Walsh: Outdoor educator and wilderness guide with more than 30 years of experience using adventure, rites of passage, and nature-based practices to foster healing and transformation.
  • Ami Jean Aubin: Naturalist, wildlife tracker, and mindful outdoor guide whose work helps people rediscover reciprocity, belonging, and connection with the more-than-human world.
