Sacred Erotic Reclamation is a five-day retreat for women and femmes of all racial and faith backgrounds who are ready to reimagine their relationship to desire, embodiment, and the divine. Rooted in ritual, somatics, and tantric wisdom, this space invites a tender and courageous inquiry:

What’s possible when we reclaim our erotic as a pathway to aliveness, creativity, and ancestral remembrance?

Join founder of MINKA brooklyn, Aki Hirata Quetzalyolotzin, and multidisciplinary artist, Chetna Mehta, for a program grounded in lineage practices and lived experiences of women of color—weaving ancestral, earth-based, and decolonial frameworks. This space is intentionally intersectional to honor the complex interweaving of race, sexuality, gender, and spiritual traditions that shape our bodies and stories.

Through ritual, movement, creative expression, and collective witnessing, you will:

• Redefine the erotic as a sacred, life-affirming energy beyond sexuality.
• Reclaim body-based wisdom and intuitive expression.
• Challenge shame and cultural taboos that constrict pleasure.
• Reconnect with ancestral and earth-based traditions that honor eros as divine.
• Engage in grief and release rituals to honor what no longer serves.
• Practice pleasure as resilience, resistance, and vitality.

Our communities carry layered legacies of colonization, sexual repression, and patriarchal conditioning—histories that have distorted or silenced the erotic. This retreat is a space to return to the wisdom of the body, reweave pleasure with prayer, and restore eros as a force of healing, creativity, and liberation.

Return home with embodied tools to sustain erotic sovereignty in daily life. Leave with a felt sense of belonging, creative freedom, and sacred intimacy with self, ancestors, and community.
