Slow Yoga and Qigong
Relax and restore in the new year
A Gentle Path Back to Balance
Begin the new year grounded, refreshed, and renewed. Through the flowing movements of qigong, the meditative pace of slow yoga, and the deep rest of yoga nidra, you will be invited to soften tension, restore vital energy, and return to the wisdom of the present moment.
This nourishing New Year’s retreat offers a gentle path back to balance—helping you move with greater ease, grace, stability, and freedom, while cultivating a calm mind and an open heart.
Kripalu legacy faculty and mind-body practices leader Ken Nelson, martial artist and qigong teacher John Haggerty, and author and facilitator Lesli Lang will guide you through:
- Beginner-friendly meditation practices
- Qigong sequences to support posture, balance, stamina, and vitality
- Yin and restorative yoga to ease chronic tension in the spine, hips, and low back
- Yoga nidra for deep rest and nervous system renewal
Weather permitting, we may practice outdoors to cultivate harmony with the natural world. Return home feeling energized, centered, and more at home in your body—with simple daily practices you can continue in the year ahead.
NOTE: This program is suitable for all levels; no prior yoga or qigong experience is necessary.
