Dining FAQs
In addition to a cafeteria-style line that offers all-natural poultry and fish products at some meals, we always offer an exclusively vegetarian line. The lines include soup and an entrée plus grain, bean, and vegetable side dishes. There is also an extensive salad bar with raw vegetables, cheeses, seeds, and homemade salad dressings.
For guests with gluten sensitivities, the Kripalu Kitchen takes careful steps to ensure an enjoyable dining experience; we use only wheat-free tamari (soy sauce), our miso is gluten-free, all herbs are gluten-free, we offer gluten-free hot and cold cereals every morning, and we have a 100% gluten-free area. While our bakery is not a gluten-free bakery, we do offer a gluten-free bread option at all meals.
We recognize that, just like adults, our younger guests have varying food preferences and degrees of experience with the type of cuisine we serve. While we hope that children enjoy our dishes, we want you to be aware of the more traditional options we provide for kids.
During lunch and dinner, a build-your-own sandwich bar including meats and cheeses is available near the Panini grill. We also offer plain white basmati rice, steamed vegetables, and plain beans on our Buddha Bar. At every meal, there is a side bar that includes peanut butter, jelly, bread, and rice cakes.
Highchairs and booster seats are available in the Main Dining Hall.
