Ayurvedic Cooking Weekend Spring Detox

Come explore cleansing foods from an Ayurvedic perspective. Spring is an excellent time to detox and enjoy the bitter, astringent, and warming foods that assist the body in moving out winter stagnation. In this program with Kate O’Donnell, you learn

  • How to create green soups and juices, hot breakfasts, healthy treats, and digestive aids
  • The flavors and medicinal qualities of the spring diet
  • Basic Ayurvedic philosophy and lifestyle techniques for the spring season.

Expect to roll up your sleeves and help out in Kripalu’s demonstration kitchen, applying the techniques, using the tools, and tasting the dishes you create. Kate welcomes all levels, from beginning cooks to those with kitchen experience.

Note Bring closed-toe shoes and hair ties.
