ACCESS THE WILD PARTS OF YOURSELF
Creative breakthroughs—whether they be artistic, entrepreneurial, financial or emotional—are what we seek in life. Real breakthroughs only arrive, however, when we combine our best gifts with a little wildness.
Join internationally renowned poet and author David Whyte and special guests Owen and Micheal Ó Súilleabháin for a program that examines our individual brilliance. Brilliance can often be found in the ways we learn to ask for help from others. By asking for help, we bring our internal conversation to fruition in the outer world. Asking for help also opens us to a proper experience of radical wildness. It asks us to get over ourselves while explaining ourselves at a deeper and more elemental level.
Through poetry, Zen teachings, and other forms of artistry, you will learn how to:
- Understand and gain confidence in your own wild ways.
- Build disciplines and "routines" around these abilities.
- Allow for your brilliance to come forth.
- Make real time for the Self.
Our own eccentricities are to be prized and nurtured. The ability to have faith in our very own, often particularly wild, way is essential for all creative breakthroughs. A tiny bit of crazy multiplied by a little brilliance goes a very long way toward creating a more interesting and fulfilling life.
