Fusion Belly Dance Flow Weekend

Our popular online program is now on campus in a retreat format! Under the guidance of master teacher Ebony Qualls, dive into the mysterious and beautiful world of isolations, undulation, and shimmies that are the underpinnings of fusion-style belly dance.

Come as you are—this experience is open to ALL—and explore a fun and unique spin on contemporary belly dance. Learn to combinations that fuse modern urban styles found in hip hop, retro funk styles such as popping, and the timeless art of traditional Raqs sharqi. Build coordination, work on isolating movements, and expand your dance style with layers. This retreat will be high-energy. Prepare to sweat and have fun!

Through guided instruction, you will

  • Learn combinations that fuse modern urban styles found in hip hop, retro-funk styles such as locking, and the timeless art of traditional belly dance 
  • Build coordination, and work on isolating movements 
  • Expand your dance style with juicy shimmies and undulations.  

Come and join a group of dancers of all levels, from beginners to experienced movers and shakers. 

Note Dance shoes are recommended, but not required. Masks will be required in the program room.
