The Heart of Nonviolence This Way to Freedom
- Presenter: Hawah Kasat
THE HEART OF NONVIOLENCE
There may be no greater call in the world today than understanding how a commitment to nonviolence can impact our daily lives and our relationships with each other and the planet.
Nonviolence, known in Sanskrit as ahimsa, is a concept dating back thousands of years and serves as the foundational anchor for some of the most important spiritual, social and political movements of our time.
So many of us dream of a world free of all forms of violence yet struggle to envision how to achieve this. We long for a life free from grief, loss, and suffering but feel stuck in a reality where violence is the norm. Since the beginning of recorded history, global leaders have responded to violence with more violence. But what if there was another way? Together, let us explore the path of nonviolence as a means to liberation and the end of suffering for all beings.
Join gifted educator, entrepreneur, community organizer, TEDx speaker, and yogi, Hawah Kasat, as we journey through the history and applications of nonviolence and discover how such a commitment would impact our daily lives and the world we live in.
NOTE You will have access to the video recording(s) for 30 days after the program ends. All recordings will be available within 72 hours of the end of each session.
