Journey Toward Bliss The Five Koshas


Awaken the physical body, energy body, and mind as you embark upon a profound exploration of the koshas, or the five layers of being: anamaya kosha (physical layer), pranamaya kosha (pranic layer), manomaya kosha (mental/emotional layer), vijnanamaya kosha (intuitive layer), and anandamaya kosha (bliss layer).

Join Kripalu lead faculty member, Yuval Samburskifor a multidimensional journey that begins with the physical body, travels through the vibrations of the body and mind, and concludes with a celebration of bliss. You will explore the koshas through: 

  • Vinyasa and restorative yoga
  • Self-massage
  • Breathwork
  • Sound healing
  • Meditation

Gain fundamental knowledge of the koshic system to take home and incorporate into your daily life. 

NOTE Please bring appropriate clothing for indoor yoga practice and hiking or meditating outside. 

This program—developed and led by our own faculty with the Kripalu methodology in mind—is offered exclusively at Kripalu.

Yuval Samburski, E-RYT 500, YACEP, and Lead Kripalu Faculty is an Israeli-born, NYC-based yoga instructor and teacher trainer known for his smart sequencing grounded in clear alignment.
