The Kripalu Approach to Ayurveda Summer Yoga Retreat

Have you ever considered that you could change your yoga, meditation, and pranayama practice with the season just like you do your food? This summer, join Kripalu’s beloved Ayurveda and yoga teachers and learn to embrace the season by discovering how Ayurveda can inform your yoga practice.

Under the guidance of Kripalu Lead faculty, you will be invited into relationship with the seasonal shift. For many, summer brings the welcome warm winds leaving the cool damp spring behind. For others, summer presents challenges with heat and humidity. Discover nourishing, cooling, and refreshing practices for body, senses, and mind.

In this immersive retreat, you will explore

  • The Ayurveda theory behind the benefits of seasonal yoga practice
  • Spacious asana, meditation, and breathing practices to support digestion and cool the mind
  • Self-care routines to support coolness and expansiveness to thrive in summer
  • Time on the Kripalu land in reciprocity as you commune with the five elements of nature
  • Integration practices through journaling, reflection, and connection.

Leave the program with a home practice plan, a renewed sense of rhythm and calm, and tools to make empowered choices to maintain your internal sense of equilibrium throughout the year.

Note Please bring layers for outdoor sessions.

This program—developed and led by our own faculty with the Kripalu methodology in mind—is offered exclusively at Kripalu.
