Inviting all behavioral health clinicians, psychotherapists, and practitioners to a retreat focused on expanding your “self” to advance your development as a therapist. Join renowned psychologist, psychotherapist, and author Jeffrey J. Magnavita and Elizabeth G. Magnavita, clinical social worker and psychotherapist, for a weekend retreat of immersive and educational experiences.

Learn ways to develop your therapeutic effectiveness by utilizing a unifying framework and ways of nourishing and expanding your “self” to optimize results and experience greater professional and personal satisfaction.

Experience ways to expand your “self” using the principles that Leonardo da Vinci followed to live an engaged and creative life, with application to vital aspects of psychotherapeutic effectiveness.

In this retreat, you will:

  • Stimulate and enhance your sense of perception, creativity, pattern recognition skills, and fast and slow thinking processes, and apply these to your professional practice.
  • Learn to draw from your experiences and apply your personal gifts to enhance your practice.

Jeffrey J. Magnavita, Ph.D. is a psychologist, psychotherapist, and author who is known as an innovator in the treatment of mental health disorders. Jeffrey has been in private practice for over four decades and is the recipient of numerous awards for his work.

Full Bio and Programs

Elizabeth G. Magnavita, LICSW, is a psychotherapist who works at an acute inpatient psychiatric hospital in Boston treating diverse populations, including individuals coping with chronic illness, grief, addiction, and psychosis. Elizabeth also works in private practice specializing in adolescents and young adults.
