Preparing for the Final Asana
- Presenter: Kathryn Tucker
- Presenter: Sudha Carolyn Lundeen
THE SACRED PROCESS OF TRANSITION
What if we were able to approach the biggest transition of our lives with a greater sense of knowledge, calm, and reassurance?
Join yoga teacher and one of the nation’s leading advocates for terminally ill patients, Kathryn Tucker, JD, and Kripalu legacy faculty Sudha Carolyn Lundeen for a weekend program that invites you to explore your relationship to the final stage of life. Kathryn and Sudha will explain the choices which commonly arise in a supportive and interactive way. You will:
- Use yoga, breath, and meditation to encourage a contemplative state of being
- Open yourself up to a conversation about, and exploration of, the process of dying
- Learn about the different ways to express your wishes concerning medical care
- Understand how to interface with the medical care team to ensure your wishes are known and respected.
Return home with more knowledge about the dying process and understanding the value of preparing for your end-of-life, or that of a loved one.
NOTE No experience with yoga or meditation is required. This program is suitable for all, especially for those with a desire to learn about the law and medicine and those who feel the deep urge to prepare for their final chapter with agency and clarity.
