Unearthing the Wisdom of Menopause Rituals for Self-Care and Discovery
- Presenter: Erin Casperson
- Presenter: Edi Pasalis
THE WISDOM YEARS
The transitional time of menopause is a potent period for discovery and insight. Deep in our bodies lies an inherent wisdom that is available for unearthing.
Join Kripalu lead faculty, Edi Pasalis, and director of the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, Erin Casperson, for a program designed to help women navigate the changes in their physical, mental, and emotional bodies. Edi and Erin will guide you to embrace your evolving position in society—and remind you that this time in your life deserves celebration and ritual to honor the intuition that is unfolding. Together in community, you will have the opportunity to:
- Normalize the wildly unpredictable shifts of your unique story.
- Share openly about your experiences transitioning from menarche to menopause.
- Find balance with pragmatic guidance from Ayurveda—including herbs, foods, and self-care practices to tame the heat and encourage sleep.
- Turn your attention inward to tend the inner garden of wisdom.
Whether you are at the start, in the middle, or at the end of menopause, come gather, find comfort, and rediscover the essence of who you are.
NOTE This program is open to all self-identifying women anticipating, going through, or reflecting on the hormonal transition from menarche to menopause. Please bring clothing appropriate for self-massage with oil—such as a tank top, shorts, shirt, or pants that can be rolled up.
