The Ancestral Way
Reclaiming lineage through story, song, and ritual for renewal
Spark Your Inner Flame
At the still point between winter solstice and spring equinox, the old traditions light their fires. Across the ancestral ways, this is a sacred threshold: a time to tend what has gestated in the dark, honor what was released in the fallow season, and name the seeds ready to be planted as the light returns.
Every rooted tradition walks a wheel. Beneath the many names and lineages, our ancestors shared one wisdom: that life moves in cycles, that the elements are alive, and that we belong in right relationship with the earth, the cosmos, one another, and the unseen. Each of us descends from people who once lived this way. In this immersion, we return to that shared inheritance, anchored in the Celtic wheel while honoring that the path home runs through every lineage.
Through shamanic journey, sound, and fire ceremony, we cross the veil to remember and reclaim. We build altars to our people, lay our prayers, release the grief carried down the line, and spark the inner flame that romances us back to life. This is a homecoming, a call back to a deeper truth and to the ancient ways of being that have been rumbling in your bones.
In this experience, you will:
- Learn the wheel and the map of the ancestral year, and how to walk it as a living practice.
- Journey through song, sound, and story, crossing the veil to remember and reclaim your lineage’s gifts.
- Commune with the land and the elements through ritual, fire ceremony, and offering.
- Release inherited grief and the burdens carried down the line, laying your prayers at the threshold of the returning light.
- Spark your inner flame through poetry, movement, and breath.
- Carry home the Brat Bríde and a set of earth-based practices to walk the wheel through your own year.
We gather across the days that lead to St. Brigid’s Eve, the ancient turning toward spring, and close in the tradition of the Brat Bríde: a cloth blessed and carried home as your talisman of healing and protection for the year to come. You’ll leave rekindled and rerooted, carrying ritual tools for the year ahead and a restored sense of belonging to the earth, your lineage, and each other.
