Dance Into Joy Spring Cleaning for Body, Mind and Heart
- Presenter: Jurian Hughes
MAKE SPACE FOR A NEW BEGINNING
Dance is one of our most ancient and transformative rituals. From the whirling dervish to the Shakers, from the waltz to the rave, people have danced for joy, cleansing, and clarity.
As winter winds down and the promise of spring draws near, join senior faculty member of the Kripalu School of Yoga, Jurian Hughes, for an opportunity to reenergize your relationship with yourself, your work, and the world. Through an alchemical combination of movement, relaxation, music, meditation, and journaling, Jurian will guide you to
- Explore ecstatic movement and deep stillness
- Cleanse everything from your core to your pores
- Free your mind and rely on your body’s wisdom to inform your new direction.
Come sweat, let go, and make space for a new beginning. Return home with more clarity about where you are now and how to intuit your way forward.
Note No prior dance or yoga experience is required. Please bring comfortable clothing, a journal, and layers for going outside if weather permits. You may dance barefoot or bring comfortable, clean shoes that support you as needed.
