The Evolving Science of Yoga Making Research Accessible

INTEGRATE THE LATEST RESEARCH INTO YOUR PRACTICE

Stay current with the ever-evolving scientific understanding of the therapeutic application of yoga. 

Join Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy faculty members, Jaime Boswell and Lisa Nelson, MD, for an exploration of some of the most relevant scientific studies from recent years on the application of yoga practices for cultivating mental and physical well-being. This program will specifically focus on topics that affect large percentages of the population—such as mental health, chronic pain, stress, and sleep quality.  

During this online training, you will: 

  • Learn about recent scientific publications on yoga. 
  • Experience evidence-informed yoga practices. 
  • Discuss the application of yoga practices to various populations. 
  • Cultivate language around the evidence-base for yoga as a wellness practice.  

Each year hundreds of new studies on the health effects of yoga are published in scientific literature. This training provides an opportunity to stay up-to-date on the evidence and integrate it into your practice. Finish the program with an increased understanding of how yoga can be utilized to improve well-being—and with an embodied understanding of the practice as well as the confidence to share these wellness benefits of yoga with your clients and colleagues.   

NOTE You will have access to the video recording(s) for 30 days after the program ends. All recordings will be available within 72 hours of the end of each session.
