GUIDING GENTLE YOGA

Join Legacy Kripalu faculty, Rudy Peirce, for a 40-hour advanced yoga teacher training and learn how to lead accessible, inclusive, and empowering Gentle Yoga.

Learn these next steps in your development as a Gentle Yoga teacher as you:

  • Explore essential options for Gentle Yoga postures including well-supported postures, breath cues for every movement, thorough and clear body cues, concrete terms to avoid pain and injury, and how props and options can be encouraging.
  • Practice how to guide movement at the pace of the breath, offering your students a meditative experience that connects body, mind and spirit.

Guiding satisfying, effective, and transformational Gentle Yoga requires refinement of the skills developed in a 200-hour certification. This is an important next step for all yoga teachers. Finish the training with a plan to reach folks who are interested, inspired, and want to find a yoga that works for their body.

Prerequisites Participants must have any one of the following:
Current Kripalu School of Yoga 300-HR enrollee
Any 200-Hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher training

NOTE  A 200-HR Yoga Alliance certificate will need to be presented before the start date. If no certificate is presented, the student will be unenrolled minus a $50 processing fee. To take as a standalone course or for currently enrolled Kripalu School of Yoga 300-HR students, use "BOOK NOW." For those interested in becoming a Kripalu School of Yoga certified 300-HR student, please apply to the program using "APPLY NOW"
