Healthy Joints with Breath-Body-Mind New Techniques to Reduce Joint Pain and Increase Mobility

GO BEYOND PHYSICAL MOVEMENTS

Energy flows through our joints—and maintaining joint mobility is an ancient part of yoga, qigong, and other healing systems. Slow movements with conscious awareness improve the flow of healing energy through the joints, and practicing in a group enhances these benefits.

Join integrative psychiatrists, Richard P. Brown, MD, and Patricia Gerbarg, MD, for an online program that integrates powerful healing techniques from their Breath-Body-Mind (BBM) program. Doctors Brown and Gerbarg will guide to:

  • Engage in practices that pay special attention to the back, spine, jaw, neck, shoulders, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles.
  • Experience gentle joint movements, coherent breathing, relaxation, visualization, and breath moving.
  • Take the effects to deeper levels through Open Awareness Training.

This course is suitable for people who wish to focus on a particular joint problem as well as for those who want a more comprehensive program to delay joint aging or repair damaged joints. It is also suitable for healthcare practitioners, physical therapists, and mind-body teachers interested in expanding their skills in maintaining joint health. Many people have been amazed at how these practices helped relieve their pain and increase their range of motion.

Requirements During this course, participants must keep their cameras on to enable the teachers to carefully monitor everyone and provide any coaching that is necessary for the optimal performance of the practices.

NOTE You will have access to the video recording(s) for 30 days after the program ends. All recordings will be available within 72 hours of the end of each session. To support your ongoing practice at home, you will be given a manual and access to videos of this program, information about BBM practice sessions, and other resources.
