TAKE TIME TO DO WHAT YOU LOVE
Join Kripalu lead faculty member, Michelle Dalbec, and owner of Knit Sisu, Jill Tamminen, for a retreat designed specifically for knitters, crocheters, and fiber artists of all kinds.
Gather your friends for an immersive experience where the art of crafting intertwines with the practice of mindfulness. This program will explore how crafting can be a meditative activity—fostering a deeper sense of presence and peace—and offer you a unique opportunity to forge friendships, ignite your inspiration, and share your stories and resources.
You will:
- Discover the communal aspects of crafting.
- Share your passion in a nurturing environment.
- Alleviate tension and rejuvenate the body parts most used in crafting through mindful movement.
Enjoy the kinship of others who share your love for this timeless hobby and return home feeling revitalized and ready to continue your creative journey.
NOTE All levels of experience are welcome. Please bring your own knitting supplies (yarn, needles, hooks, etc.) and one or two projects to work on. Some knitting or crocheting experience is recommended.
