Myth, Mantra, and the Authentic Self

SPARK YOUR CONNECTION TO YOUR DHARMA

The world needs people who are passionate and connected to their purpose, their inherent gifts, and how to offer those to the world in a way that is meaningful. The differences that shape us are our biggest strengths and what enables us to create vibrant, thriving communities.

Join author of Beautiful Monster: A Becoming, Miles Borrero, and special guests Caroline Duncan and Justin Green for a program that explores the subtle yet powerful connection between myth, mantra, physical practices, and activating your life and purpose. Through yoga, breathwork, mythology study, Gita study, sound exploration, and more, you will:

  • Learn how myth and mantra can unlock and inspire you.
  • Awaken a deep connection to your consciousness through breath and sound.
  • Explore myths and philosophy through the art of kirtan.
  • Connect to your deepest wisdom.
  • Uncover your unique dharma.

This program distills philosophical concepts and tools that Miles has deeply explored throughout his life and in his recently released memoir Beautiful Monster: A Becoming. He shares these tools in an accessible, practical way, connecting ancient practices to modern life and making them useful even past your time at Kripalu.

Return home reignited, with your heart cracked wide open and ready to take on life’s challenges.

NOTE This program features a special kirtan on Saturday night. Kirtan is the meditative practice of deep listening through the chanting of mantra in community. Participants in this program can earn CE credits through Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider® Miles Borrero. More information will be provided during the session.
