The power of appreciative presence

A Privilege We Deserve to Celebrate

If we are fortunate, we will get to get older. Aging is both a miracle and privilege that we deserve to celebrate, not—as we are told—a problem to be solved, denied, or defied. When we age gratefully, every day becomes a chance to savor the precious, unpromised moments we are here. We awaken to the sacredness of our lives exactly as they are, and can become even more of who we are.

Join author, teacher, and stage IV cancer survivor Kristi Nelson for an experiential exploration of aging that invites you to engage with every moment of your life with unconditional appreciation.

Through presentations, meditations, poetry, reflective writing, dialogue, and actionable practices, you will learn to:

  • Befriend aging so you can be more wholeheartedly present for your life.
  • Cultivate and celebrate all that is enhanced and possible as you grow older.
  • Embrace the inevitability of grief and loss with an expansive, open heart.
  • Become more at peace, even—and especially—in the face of the unknown.

Learn to bring the abundant wisdom of aging gratefully to life, and welcome getting older as the opportunity and privilege that it truly is.
