Heal Your Nervous System
The neuroscience of therapeutic touch
Build Resilience
This immersive, trauma-informed program is designed to support individuals navigating secondary traumatic stress, whether in professional caregiving roles or in their personal lives.
Rooted in neuroscience, compassion, and somatic practice, this program introduces you to Havening Techniques®, a neuroscience-based approach that can be used anywhere and anytime using gentle touch and positive thought to rapidly rewire the brain, build resilience, and de-encode trauma. You will explore how stress, empathy, and exposure to others’ pain impacts the brain and nervous system and how to restore safety, agency, and resilience without “fixing” yourself.
Through experiential learning, guided Havening experiences, reflective exercises, and the HUG It Out® Method, you are invited to reconnect with the Pioneer Practitioner® that exists within each of us: the inner guide capable of meeting stress with curiosity, regulation, and self-trust. This program balances education with embodiment, offering daily group regulation experiences, community-building practices, and meaningful integration to support you long after you return home.
In this program, you will explore:
- Neuroscience-based approaches to navigating secondary traumatic stress
- Somatic practices to support healing
- The impact of stress on the brain and nervous system
- The role of self-trust and self-compassion
