The Art of Loving-Kindness A Meditation and Yoga Retreat

Eastern contemplative traditions universally believed that a loving heart was the fruit of all meditative practice. Over time, loving-kindness or metta meditation, became a highly sophisticated art in both the yoga and the Buddhist traditions.

Join dear friends and beloved teachers Stephen Cope and Missy Brown for a weekend retreat focused on the systematic cultivation of loving-kindness. This on campus program weaves together

  • Sitting, walking, and loving-kindness meditation practices that support compassion
  • Short dharma talks based on the wisdom of the Buddhist and yoga traditions
  • Chanting and journaling in a quiet, safe haven
  • Mindful Kripalu Yoga.

Take the time and space to deepen your relationship with yourself. This relaxed, friendly atmosphere welcomes practitioners of all levels. No prior experience is required.
