WELCOME A HEART-CENTERED PRACTICE
Eastern contemplative traditions universally believed that a loving heart was the fruit of all meditative practice. Over time, the cultivation of loving-kindness (metta meditation) became a highly sophisticated art in both the yoga and the Buddhist traditions.
Join acclaimed author and teacher Stephen Cope and his dear friend Missy Brown for a three-day program focused on the systematic cultivation of loving-kindness. This on campus program will include
- Loving-kindness practices, as well as other forms of meditation that support compassion and equanimity
- Dharma talks, group sharing, journaling, and chanting
- Daily mindful yoga practices.
This relaxed, friendly atmosphere welcomes practitioners of all levels of experience to encourage a deeper understanding of the importance of loving-kindness.
