Befriending Your Body Meeting Your Body As Your Teacher

HEAL YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR BODY

Your body, your greatest teacher, is full of wisdom. Many spiritual traditions respect the body as the foundation of awareness and connection to self and others.

Join experienced psychotherapist, author, and creator of the Befriending Your Body (BFYB) program, Ann Saffi Biasetti, as she guides you to explore ways to make peace with your body and yourself.

Through embodied movement, meditation, reflection, and compassion practices, you will:

  • Cultivate connection and empowerment so you can return to your truest Self.
  • Understand mind-body duality and its influence on body image.
  • Learn to quiet the inner critic so you can develop a new relationship with your body.
  • Discover inner strength and create authentic, meaningful relationships with others.

Explore the long—but not forgotten—relationship with your body. By understanding the history of the mind-body divide as well as the cultural influences that have left us in states of disconnection, we can learn to love our bodies once more.

NOTE This program is open to all women, whether or not you have a history with disordered eating.
