Slow Down and Go Inward

In this 75-minute workshop, you will learn a practical exercise for working with emotional eating based on the Lojong slogan: three objects, three poisons, three seeds of virtue.

This exercise will support you to slow down, go inward, and connect with what is really happening before, during, and after the intense experience of eating emotionally. By working with this exercise in your daily life, you will gain greater fluency of your body, your heart, and your whole self to eat for satisfaction while also tending to your other hungers.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Discover techniques and mindsets to cope with emotional eating.
  • Connect with your internal experience during meals.
  • Cultivate a compassionate framework to eat for satisfaction.
  • Learn about the Lojong slogan: three objects, three poisons, three seeds of virtue.
