A strong physical practice needs to be grounded in a strong mental practice. Bryan Kest believes that true wellness and health are rooted in a calm, peaceful mind that is less dominated by habits, less reactive, and more in tune with the body, breath, and emotions. In his approach to yoga, the poses are infused with purpose and meaning, combining physical exercise with mindfulness to create a true meditation in motion.. WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

In this program, Bryan shares his more than four decades of experience practicing and teaching Power Yoga. Through interactive, nondogmatic, and lighthearted sessions—with plenty of time to practice teaching—you learn

  • Power Yoga’s philosophy and history
  • Brahma, a complete Power Yoga routine of about 40 asanas
  • The multi-dynamic possibilities of each pose
  • How to work with injuries and personalize a practice
  • Tips for turning your yoga practice into a business.

Note Bryan tends to use humor and explicit language in his programs. This program is held in a slightly heated room (approx. 80 degrees). Yoga Alliance credits are not available. There will also be study requirements and the extended hours may limit your participation in other Kripalu activities.
