Mastering Stress Yoga and Mindfulness Practices for Living Well with Stress

STRATEGIES FOR MANAGING STRESS

Most of us recognize that too much stress is harmful to our health and well-being, yet we are not quite sure how to handle it.

Join psychologist, educator, and experienced yoga teacher, Diane Malaspina, for a program that offers techniques to mitigate the challenges of stress in the modern world. Diane will guide you through the latest stress research and how it impacts our human biological rhythms—and offer effective tools for shifting your personal stress response.

Through breathwork, guided practice, myofascial release, discussion, reflection, and more, you will:

  • Learn the science of the mind-body stress response.
  • Explore yoga and mindfulness practices that build a baseline tolerance for stress.
  • Understand how movement and breath can set the stage for the flow state.
  • Reframe overwhelm with enthusiasm.

Mastering stress doesn't mean avoiding it, it means learning how to move through it. Return home knowing how to rebuild what is depleted during stress experiences and understanding the difference between active and passive recovery. Be prepared to relax and let go of stress for a full body reset.
